Romanian agricultural land, 40 times cheaper then in Western Europe

Romania's agricultural land is also 40 times cheaper than in other western European countries.
Industry and agriculture, eyed by bankers

- referitor la drepturile de autor, cotă de deductibilitate se reduce la 20%, este stabilită obligaţia de plată a contribuţiile obligatorii individuale limitată la 5 salarii medii pe economie
- se impozitează tichetele de masă, creşă, cadou şi vacanţă cu 16 %, fără obligaţia de plată a contribuţiilor obligatorii.

As the recession exerts pressure on expenses, tourists in Romania have had to lower their aspirations. This has meant that they have either decided to spend their holiday in Romania rather than go abroad, or chosen cheaper alternatives and destinations.
The May 1 mini-break opened the summer season and signs are encouraging as pundits in the fieldwere not expecting that many people to travel.
Mercedes seeks feedback on entry-level designs

Three variants are under consideration: a crossover, sporty coupe and sedan. They are based on the redesigned, front-drive B-class platform and would be positioned below the C class. Sales are expected to begin after 2011.
Toyota considered discrediting congressional witnesses

The committee held hearings this year into possible acceleration problems in Toyota vehicles. More recently, new questions have arisen over Toyota's product recall practices.
Lufthansa launches test flight to measure volcanic ash

The tests are being conducted with a specially modified Airbus A340-600. The plane will fly with a climate research container and data will be collected through sensors on the plane's hull.
The fresh meteorological data could help determine the risk for flights should the ash from Iceland's Eyjafjallajokull volcano return to central Europe.
